THE INVESTIGATOR
Many times when we read, we encounter new and unfamiliar ideas. It might be a
location, it might be a time period, it might be someone’s job or a way of doing
something we don’t understand. This is the role for “The Investigator”, to find out
all about the background of the story, the characters and locations. Turn your
story into an information text!
You should research using other books, the internet, or interviewing someone you
think knows about the subject. Don’t forget to site your source!
You may decide to write your information on the blog, create a poster, short movie (bring in on a USB), create a mini-book….up
Hi Sporty Bunch I want to tell you about a race from The Hobbit, I want to tell you about Dwarves. Dwarves are an ancient race who came into being before the existence (it is said) the Sun and Moon. They speak a secret language known as Kuzdal, which is written in Cirth, an alphabet developed by Elves.
Though shorter and stouter than Elves and Men yet taller than Hobbits, Dwarves are extremely strong for their size, and are fearsome and capable warriors. Dwarves who survive can live up to 250 years. They have hair and beards long and like to braid both in the most elaborate fashion. Since both male and female grow beards, it can be really hard for others to tell them apart.
Dwarves build their kingdoms and restore their riches and/or mine in the depth of mountains and strong holds. Dwarves love beautiful things made by hands and by magic, and a fierce desire for gold and treasure. They are skilled when it comes to mining and will mine deep into the roots of mountains beneath the caver in which they make their home in search gold and silver, precious stones and legendary Mithril, a silver metal beyond price. They are we’ll known for their work in smithing, metal working and stonemasoning throughout Middle-earth.

the book I have chosen is Matilda By Roald Dahl.
The is about a girl called Matilda who is treated very badly by her parents and Headmistres. Mrs Trunchbull.
Matilda reads a lot and has psychic powers. Some the books she reads are Animal Farm By George Orwell,Nicholas Nickelby By Charles Dickens etc: Coming back to psychic powers. That means she can move objects with your mind. It is not likely to happen any time in this generation of human. If someone is psychic then something very supernatural is happening. There might be a explanation but it’s not likely to happen.

I have a book on star wars characters and it has all the characters in the star wars series. I have chosen the character Han Solo. Han Solo has played in lots of movies such as Indiana Jones, Blade Runner, Enders Game,42, The Fugitive and Paranoia. Han Solo’s real name is Harrison Ford. Han Solo AKA Harrison Ford is a Amirican film maker, he was born July 13 1942 Chicago his mother was a radio DJ and his dad was a former actor and advertiseing sales man. Harrison went to Los Angeles in 1964 to get a job at a radio station for vocie overs. Two years later he played in a film called (Dead Heat On A Merry Go-Round). Ok that’s it for Han Solo/ Harrison Ford now i have one more person to talk about and his name is Gorge lucas. George lucas is a film dircetor and he filmed some of the movies i mentioned before and that movie was Star Wars. I saw George Lucas’ house in person and his house is in San Fransico, America. George Lucas was born 1944 May 14 and in his eraly years he wanted to be a race car driver and he was attached to cars and darg races and other cool stuff to do with cars. Just befor his graduation he was involved in a car crash and that car crash changed his mind about being a race car driver because he could of died in that crash. After in his life he got attached to the camera of a film, and thats what changed his life, his film career went off with a blast with a awesome movie called THX-1138:4EB
